Participant Opportunities and Recruitment
Every person in Colorado can participate in TBD Colorado by logging onto the website at TBDColorado.org
Regional meeting participants:
TBD Colorado intends for each regional meeting group to reflect the uniqueness and special characteristics of each community. We seek those who want to work for the greater good of the state, rather than for only specific special interests. As a result, individuals identified to participate:
- Are willing to engage in open and honest dialogue and represent their own values and perspectives
- Are committed to work for the long-term good of all Coloradans rather than for any one special interest
- Have demonstrated a commitment to working with others to solve problems
- Have demonstrated leadership in a variety of different ways and places
- Will commit to attend all sessions and read all materials
- Will share with others the results of their community meetings
- Collectively represent the diversity within the community; including, age, gender, ethnicity, and occupation
- Represent both well-known and respected community leaders as well as fresh new faces that represent the future of Colorado. Private citizens will generally be given priority over individuals who hold public office
Other opportunities to participate:
Coloradans, whether they participate in the regional meetings or not, are encouraged to get involved. On the TBD Colorado website, people can:
- Read regional and statewide summaries, online materials and comment using interactive online tools beginning in June
