If you replace the word "revenue" with "tax" the policy recommendations say the word TAX and SPEND 14 times. It does not mention the word "JOB" once. Do we really think we can tax our way to success in Colorado? Wouldn't it be more prudent in more people were working (who pay taxes) instead of less people working paying more taxes? I agree there are some socalist services that a Government could assist with, but what State of Federal good or service has ever been provided that could be considered a success today? Do we, as Democrats, believe that Government can successfully manage any program without significant fraud, waste, or abuse without requiring further funding to address thereby increasing the expected overall costs of such a good or service?
